UK mainland orders are despatched by Royal Mail standard delivery.
International orders are despatched by Standard Airmail. We always obtain a Certificate of Posting but this does not provide cover against loss or damage. We therefore recommend insured postage in all cases.
Optional Insurance (RECOMMENDED) For a small additional cost there is the option to purchase insured shipping, which covers loss or damage in transit. We strongly recommend insurance on all overseas shipments and on domestic orders in excess of £30. Insurance is added to the cost of normal postage & can be purchased in the shop. It is the last item in the Categories list on the left hand side.
Insured shipments that are lost or damaged in transit will be replaced at no charge to you provided you inform us immediately of the loss, and assist as necessary with the insurance claim procedures. If you choose to not purchase insurance on any shipment, international or domestic, we accept no liability for lost or damaged merchandise and no refund or replacement will be provided. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with anything from Tower House Dolls you may return it within 7 days of receipt. If you wish to return any item you must contact us first via email prior to returning the item. You will be given a full refund for the cost of the returned items, excluding the return/outward postage charge, so long as the item is in its original condition. Please re-use the original packaging and obtain a Certificate of Posting. If the value of the package exceeds £30 we may request that you insure the package against loss or damage in transit. This does not affect your statutory rights.
I aim to despatch your order within 3 working days wherever possible. If, due to circumstances outside my control I am unable to despatch within this time, I will contact you. Similarly, if you require an item which is out of stock or has to be made to commission I will contact you to let you know an expected completion/delivery date.
